Hi, I’m Mimi (Mia) (The Miminator). I’m an energetic little girl, weighing about 50 pounds. I’m quickly learning what it’s like to be an inside dog. I used to hunt yard critters but now I’m learning to stalk indoor prey like tasty things on kitchen counters, balls of yarn for knitting projects, and chewy things at the bottom of trash bins. I am especially adept at following my people around the house like a little shadow that needs a good scritchin’ (again). I’m starting my obedience training but still have some work ahead of me. When I’m really happy or excited I jump around like a little bucking bronco. I love children, classical music, snuggling on your lap, and most other dogs. I don’t like cats. I’m ten years old and I leave the resident 2- and 4-year old dogs exhausted every day. I can’t be trusted alone in the house yet but my crate training is coming along nicely. There is still a lot that GPPR is learning about me and I have some vetting that still needs to be done before I can be adopted. I’m looking for a new family with lots of patience, a good sense of humor, and probably another dog to be my furry friend. I’m being fostered in Minnesota.
