Hi there! I’m Maddie, a sweet and curious pup looking for my forever home. My life started a bit rough, but now that I’ve found my foster family, I’m living the good life and loving every minute of it! I’m house trained and prefer several trips outside after meals, and I go right into my crate without any fuss. I’m not into counter surfing, but I am very interested in all things FOOD! I love sleeping in bed with my humans and, fair warning, I’m a bit of a bed hog. On walks, I might pull a bit at first, but I settle down and walk nicely after a few minutes. I haven’t barked so far, so I’m pretty quiet. I get very excited when meeting new people. I was an outside dog before, but now I’m all about the indoor life. I absolutely adore the couch and require a human to tuck me in, preferably with a pillow. My foster brothers are great cuddlers, and they keep me warm. I love to play fetch—morning, noon, and night! Sometimes I get so excited that I forget the ball is still in my mouth. I’m very curious and always want to know where my people are going and what they’re doing. I’m an avid wildlife watcher; squirrels and birds fascinate me, and I love to put my nose to the ground and explore. One of my favorite activities is spending time in my foster mom’s garden, sniffing and investigating all the interesting things.
