My name is Toby and I am a PudelPointer.  I'm a rare breed.  Basically, I am a cross between a German Poodle (pudel) and an English Pointer.  I was found as a stray.  The vet estimates that I am one year old and I will probably fill out a little more.  I am 37.5 lbs  and on the smaller side.  I am potty trained and kennel trained. I follow my foster sister around and she teaches me lots of things.  I am getting more confident every day!  I am learning to play and play with toys.  Although I do like to chew on my foster dad's slippers!  I love attention and I love belly rubs.  I am mouthy...as I like to put my mouth on you to get you to pet me.  I also do a little nipping/biting but it really is to get your attention.  Remember that I am only 1 year old so I am still learning!  My foster family is working on that as well.  I am learning sit and am doing pretty well, but I am so excited for the treat that it is hard to focus.  I don't get on the couch or bed unless invited.  Although I am just as happy laying on the floor.  My foster mom says it must be all my fuzzy fur! I am kenneled when my foster family goes out and at bedtime.  They said that I will probably get into trouble still so I haven't been allowed that freedom yet.  I have some more vetting to be done (someone said something about neutering) so I can't go home yet.  But I am taking applications - you just might be the one I choose!
