Hi! My name is Stella and my foster mom says that I am one of the nicest, calmest GSP she has ever met! I am sweet, loving, timid and fun! I do have high energy at times but really just want lots of love. , I am completely crate trained and ask to go outside to do my business. I know heel, sit, stay, come and go lay down. My foster mom is working with me on down as I like to say hi by jumping sometimes. I don't have any food aggressions and will sit until I am told that it is time to eat. I did counter surf once and found out that I like Lila Sausages! I think the humans were sad when they were all gone, I love, love, love being right next to my people! If not right next to, then right on! If you let me, I will crawl onto your lap and snuggle in and go right to sleep. While I really enjoy going outside to frolic, I would much rather be inside following my humans everywhere. I do mean everywhere! , I am a good listener and walk on a leash with my nose always on the ground! I am easy to redirect and generally want to please my humans. Harsh voices are not something that I respond to. I am a really submissive girl so I need a gentle hand and voice. I am spayed and up to date on my vaccinations. I am microchipped too! My doc said my teeth look good, my eyes are clear and I am in great shape. I weighed in at a petite 45 pounds and am as healthy as I can be! I haven't met a cat in my foster home but I have met a little fur puppy friend and we had a great time! It took me some time to warm up and then we romped around until we were exhausted. I am not so sure about my foster sis yet as she is bigger and has lots of energy. We do live alongside each other ok and go on walks together. I am a good watch dog and will bark at new arrivals. I am pretty shy with new people but will come around pretty quickly. My foster family was told that I don't like to hunt and that I am gun shy and that is why I had to leave my home. My foster dad is working on verifying that I am/am not afraid and averse to hunting. My humans also will hide pheasant wings around the house and I find them right away! So stay tuned, maybe I can be trained! I am located in SD.
