Jake is a lovable boy with a sweet disposition.  When he first came to us he was pretty shy and reserved but is opening up more and more each day.  Jake knows "sit" and "kennel" and is working on his leash walking skills.  Jake does well in a house with other dogs, but does not like to share a food dish, so separate dishes are a must.  Jake loves to run and catch balls, and is working on bringing the ball back after he retrieves it. He is full of energy and while he enjoys napping and snuggling would prefer a high energy family to run and play with him. Jake, a true hunter, does follow his nose, and would need a yard with a fence so he does not get lost.
