Cosmo is a pure bred 3 year old German Short Haired Pointer.  He is house trained, crate trained and knows many basic commands. (Here, Sit, Lay down, Fetch, Drop it, Leave it, Stay)  He has also had some basic bird dog training.  Cosmo will make a high energy, comical and joyous addition to your family.  He is a house dog and does well inside if given plenty of exercise.  He loves everyone, and wants to be with "his people".  He will follow you around the house, lay on your feet, put his head in your lap.  He loves children, but can knock them over in his excitement. 

Cosmo wants to hunt!  He has some basic hunting training and has been taught "Whoa" and beginning ranging.  He's been responsive to this training and is eager to work.

Cosmo needs a commitment to lots of activity.  He is a very smart dog.Cosmo can be a bit of an escape artist if he needs to burn off some energy.  He is very communicative if you pay attention.  He'll tell you when he needs to go out, bring you his food bowl if he's hungry and try to trick you into feeding him twice. :)
