When the seven puppies arrived, Little Miss Tilly stood out in the crowd. She was substantially smaller than the others and very lethargic. We rushed her to the vet where she had emergency surgery for a bowel obstruction. It's clear her brothers and sisters (who range from 20-27 lbs) were eating all the food and leaving her (14 lbs) to find whatever else she could, so she did.
Our amazing veterinary team was able to remove the indistinguishable item and she's on her way to recovery! Once she is all healed up, she will be available for adoption (early September).

Tiny but mighty is the theme of this one! Tilly is the definition of a cuddle bug. She will take any and every opportunity to snuggle up next to her human or fellow furry friend. Tilly has not met a stranger when it comes to humans or dogs and is especially fond of mealtime. That being said, Tilly loves her treats and food and will likely continue to be food motivated when it comes to training. She continues to work on “sit” in her foster home and is a work in progress as far as finding the kennel to be a safe space when she’s alone. When the resident dogs’ kennel is open, she will willingly and happily go sit with them or even alone, however is less willing when placed in her own kennel and left alone. Although the smallest of the pups, she’s very athletic and has no fear when it comes to jumping and climbing on and off furniture and resident dogs. She is the perfect mix of high energy and nap partner and would love a furever home that provides her with endless amounts of snuggles.
