Hi, I’m Teddy (Theodore when I am naughty, which never ever happens!). I am 100% velociraptor and 100% adorable! My foster family has 3 other dogs that keep me pretty busy and out of trouble! I follow my foster sister everywhere! She is teaching me all the GSP tricks; how to play with toys together, the best places to take naps, some manners, and she is even helping potty train me!

I love squeaky toys and even “sing” along with the squeaks! I also love chasing after balls and other toys. I’m not ready to start catching toys yet, but I bet I will be the best toy catcher in all the land when I get a little bigger!

My foster family is working with me on jumping up on them and counter surfing when I get excited. I love the human kids in the house; I can’t get enough of their snuggles and play time!

I am learning how to walk on a leash, I know once I get the hang of it, I will want to go on lots of walks together! My foster family also has a doggie door that I am comfortable using. I like to be outside with my foster siblings!

I am starting to learn some basic commands like off and sit. But I need a lot of practice. Thank goodness I love treats, so it won’t take me too long to get the hang of the basics. I tend to eat super-fast; my foster family recommends a slow feeder bowl or puzzle of some sort to help teach me to slow down.

I am pretty darn close to being fully potty trained. No really! It’s true! My foster family makes sure I go right out after each nap and several times throughout the day. I have even started whining at the back door when I really really need to go! I wake up once during the night for a potty break, but that’s only when my foster siblings get up to go potty, I would rather sleep through the night, but I also can’t miss out on whatever their middle of the night fun is!

Teddy’s ideal home is an active household with another energetic dog (or two) to play with.
