Meet Miss Dotti!

Personality traits - Dotti is a sweet, curious, smart and playful pup. She loves to explore and lately on our walks, she likes to check out every worm, stick or leaf. She is a nice mix of independent and velcro where she doesn’t mind alone play time in the kennel but loves to cuddle on the couch with people. She seems to like soft chewy toys versus hard toys but that could because she is losing some of her pup teeth. Highlight unique characteristics or behaviors

Energy level - She is pretty typical GSP. We think she would do best with a family that enjoys daily walks and outside time. After playtime, she is very calm and loves to relax and cuddle.

Compatibility - She is a happy puppy that so far seems to like kids up to adults. We think she would make a good playmate for another friendly dog, but she might be too playful for an older dog. Dotti has not been around any babies or toddlers yet.

Training progress - Dotti is crate trained and sleeps in the crate pretty good for her age. She may cry occasionally if she needs to potty. Dotti is crated if she is not being supervised because she is very curious and loves to chew!! Dotti is learning “sit”, “come”, “kennel”, “leave-it” and “no”. Dotti does a great job doing potty outside, but we are still working to get her to stop marking/tinkling around in the house. Dotti loves to chew so be mindful of furniture and shoes.
