Being blind has hardly slowed him down. He has an excellent nose (for cheese! and treats!) and adapts to his environment with relative ease. He loves to wander around the backyard and sniff everything out, and frequently comes to check on his person for head scratches. For his own safety, he’ll need a fenced yard. Zeus is both house and crate trained.

He does well on leashed walks when you talk to him (so he knows where you are) and he likes to jump up for hugs, though we’re working on that. He’s also been known to counter surf once or twice, but he responds well to “no” or clapping your hands. He has excellent recall. 

He’s a quiet boy who rarely barks, though he becomes very attached to his people and will whimper when he first goes into his kennel for the night. Leaving a radio or the TV on while you’re away helps him quite a bit.

This absolute sweetheart will make an amazing companion for a lucky person or family.
