Hi, my name is Gus and I am a sweet, young, energetic pointer mix. I am a tall lanky, handsome boy. My favorite things are cuddling and playing with toys. I'll entertain myself with stuffed animals and kongs if you let me! I am house trained, but do enjoy checking out the countertops to make sure everything is cleaned up. Recently I have been granted full house roaming capabilities while my foster parents work from home. I do my thing and occasionally pop my head in to check that they are having an awesome day. They put me in a crate any time they leave the house though, otherwise I like to try out my naughty side. I am not a fan of the crate and can be a bit vocal about it, but I eventually give up and settle in. 

My foster mom says I'm a learner! Don't tell her, but I just like the attention and treats. I know my name, sit, shake, sometimes will listen to "lay down," and will redirect and pay attention to my human if I'm called. I do great with other dogs at doggy daycare and the dog park, but need to be the only pet who lives full-time in my home.
