Hello! My name is Rae and my foster family says that I am the sweetest pointer you will ever meet. I may be a little gray around my muzzle but all that means is that I’ve been around long enough to learn my manners. I know how to behave in a house (and lots of great tricks!) and I love curling up on a dog bed (or a comfy spot on a couch if you let me) and basking in the sun. You will be amazed at how long my legs are and how tightly I can curl into the tiniest ball.

Since I’ve been a young pup I have been around children and I know that I need to be gentle with them. My favorite thing to do during the day is to hang with people but I do love playing fetch, giving hugs and going on adventures. I am learning that it may be fun to have another dog around but this is very new to me. My foster family heard that I don’t like to be left alone but since being at their home, I get to run around a lot and I’m usually so relaxed and happy I haven’t minded hanging out by myself. My family is working from home so no one really has anywhere to go to get me more practice of being alone. I can’t wait to find my perfect retirement home. Will you make some space for me?
