I am Hobo!  I am currently being fostered in MN and I’m not going to lie, I love life for the time being, but I really want to find my forever home so I can settle in for the long haul.

My needs are pretty simple; a loving family that has patience and likes the outdoors, a safe house, a companion dog (I need this to help build confidence), toys to play with, and a comfy lap or two to cuddle up on.

It takes me a little bit to warm up to new people, which is why I ask for patience. Once I feel safe with you I am the most loyal and loving companion you could ever ask for. I will gladly cuddle with you for hours and sneak in a few kisses if you allow it, even better is if you give me a kiss on my muzzle J

These are activities I do at my foster home that make me happy:

·         Playing with toys!!! any kind, indoors or outdoors

·         Playing with a companion dog

·         Going for walks/runs in the woods (I’ve found grouse and turkey)

·         Swimming

·         Stalking chipmunks and squirrels

·         Using my nose any chance I get .. the swamps are a lot of fun .. several scents there

·         Fishing .. I get so excited when I see the rod tip move

·         Rides: Boat, Car, Golf Cart (pretty much anything that moves)

·         Cuddle time

·         Love/Praise .. I thrive on it

We don’t have a fenced yard at my foster home and I’ve learned when foster mom says “Hobo Come” or blows the whistle I better get my butt beside her pronto. I will sit by her when she tells me to, but I’m not good at holding the command. I walk really nice on the leash, but since my recall is so good most of the time we go for walks off leash. I will need continued training with basic obedience (that will be a good bonding experience for me with my new family too) and slow exposure to new experiences to build my confidence (once I trust you I will follow you anywhere while on leash).

Nobody has shot directly over me, but near by gunfire has not scared me nor do thunderstorms. I am allowed to free roam the house with my foster siblings when my foster mom leaves the house.

I get lots of exercise in my foster home so for the most part I am relaxed in the house.  I can however be a bit crazy at times when my foster brother and I get to chasing each other .. we are both young and love to play. I am fully house broken and have good house manners.

If you would like to find out more information about me or meet me please complete and application.
