Chip is a 4-year-old GSP who has a LOT of love to give!  He is wonderful with children of all ages although he will sometimes accidentally knock them down when he gets excited.  He is gentle and loving.  He is a great watchdog - he will let you know if someone is anywhere near the house!  However, when they come to the door - he just wants love and is not aggressive or mean in any way.  He does not like to be alone, and he will bark and whine if he hears you and you haven't let him out of his kennel yet.  He is also afraid of thunderstorms and will be your shadow during them so he knows he is safe.  He is used to sleeping in a kennel at night and when we're gone, and he is very good about going into it when you tell him.  He LOVES to play ball - he'll play for HOURS.  He has a couple bones that he chews on, but other than mistaking a couple of the kids' toys for his own, he has never destroyed anything of ours.  He has never had an accident in the house.  He needs some work with his exuberance when greeting people - he will jump up because he loves people!  He is not food or toy aggressive.  He wants nothing more than to love on his people and be loved by them.  If you're looking for a terrific, loyal family dog - Chip is definitely your boy!!!
