Stella is a sweet girl who has a lot of energy. She gets along with other dogs, even smaller dogs. Even though she gets along with other dogs, she does need a younger dog (under 8) who is her similar or larger to her size to play with. She loves to run around, play ball, and play around in the kiddie pool. She has a great nose and loves to watch birds, bunnies, squirrels, pretty much anything that moves.

 

She is house trained, and crate trained, but she can be trusted to be left out of the crate. She does display anxiety in the crate. She does need to have another dog at home so she has companionship that is her size or larger. She does well on the leash, although she will pull when she is excited. She knows basic commands, rides great in the car, and greets people and children well, although you may have to remind her to stay down.

 

Stella loves to cuddle, so her forever family will need to let her on the couch or chair, at night she has to have her cuddle time! She WILL NOT do well with cats. Stella gets vocal when she wants to play (see the ball playing video), and when she is very excited. Hook her up on the leash and go for a morning walk, she will tell you how happy she is!
