Great Plains Pointer Rescue

Hi my name is Skeeter and my foster Mom says I am a handsome black and white boy with brown eyes. I am a little over a year old. Before coming to GPPR I was found stray and ended up in a shelter. For this reason my current humans don’t know much about my past. 

Currently, I am living with three other pointers, a girl and two boys. I get along with them pretty well, but am still trying to figure out playing with them as they are older than I am. I am very
inquisitive and love to check things out which sometimes gets me in trouble, but I am working on being a good boy. I have figured out chasing a ball is fun and going on walks with my foster Dad is one thing I really love and I am really good at it too! I have lots of energy so being able to play and run helps calm me down. When I am the only dog I really love to be with my people and behave very well for them whether riding in a car or walking on a leash. I know basic commands such as sit, stay, off and down. In my foster home I sleep in a kennel and am kenneled during the day because my foster siblings are. One of my favorite things is pretending I am a lap dog because I love to be with my people. I would love a furever home and hope you will consider adopting me.
