My name is Whiskey.  I am a 10 month old wire-haired pointer mix.  I am 43.5 pounds and a bundle of energy.  I mean I am really high energy.  My foster mom takes me for a walk every morning to help get some of my energy out. I walk nicely on the leash. I like to walk fast, but will accommodate my slow foster mom!  I love to play!  I especially love squeaky toys and squeaky balls.  I will do a bit of fetch, but I don't always want to give the ball back.  I am crate trained, house trained, know my name, come when called, will sit, and leave it.  I take treats nicely most of the time, but sometimes I am so excited I forget and just grab.  I tend to follow my foster parents around because I just want to know what they are up to and want to belong.  My foster brother and I are starting to play, but I am still learning when to stop.  I am also learning boundaries - like my grumpy old foster sister will only take so much sniffing.  I really am a good boy that needs a home that understands I am not perfect and have a bunch of energy that I need to release.  I really try hard to please.  I know I am cute and will use that to my advantage - you know you want to give me a bite of your sandwich! So have your people call my people and we can make a date to meet.
