Hi! My name is Crissy. I'm a 10 year old GSP. I grew up in IA with my original owner. He recently had to move into a new home and couldn't keep me. I was pretty nervous when I got to MN but my foster parents helped me settle in to a new home. It may only take me a day or two but I don't think I will have any problems when I go to my forever home. Since I've been here, I have learned to love little dogs. My foster brother, Bandit is a Chihuahua Yorkie mix. He is only 8 lbs and is way faster than I am. This does't make me nervous though because I'm the older/wiser one. I am good with staying away from his food because I know he is picky with when he eats. I roam the house during the day while my foster parents are at work. I like to stay on the couch with my brother as it is super comfy. I'm not crate trained; I don't really like it in there. I'm usually here 4-5 hours at a time before someone comes home to let me out. But if I need to go, I usually let them know by going to the door. I've also trained my foster parents to feed me or give me water by tapping the side of the dish. I have them on a pretty short leash :) I'm getting better at letting my foster mom give me kisses on the head. I was a bit nervous at first but MAN, I really enjoy all the kisses. We also like to cuddle. I don't mind my ears or feet being played with, I'm pretty laid back. I like to run around outside and smell as many blades of grass as possible before I get too cold and have to go back inside. The one thing I'm still not sure about is car rides. But if the window is down I like to smell the fresh air. I would love to find a forever home with a family that can handle my affection. I love everyone and I want to share it with a good family. I haven't been around many children, but I'm okay with them. I just get a little clumsy sometimes and it's easy for me to knock them over because I'm a pretty tall girl. Anyway, I can't let Bandit have the whole couch now, that's just ridiculous. I hope this finds you well and maybe we can meet soon! I'm excited for the next chapter in my life and thankful for all the caring people that have helped me get here!!! ~Crissy
