Hi my name is Gretta and I am a super sweet gal who is always smiling and I sure do love to wag my tail!  I will come when my foster parents call my name and lean in to get a nice ear or back scratch. I’m very affectionate and also love attention so I’ll remind you with a little nudge of my nose if you haven’t pet me in a while.  I’m getting used to being an indoor dog and love to relax on the big fluffy pillows around the house.  I even get to sleep on one at night and I do just fine with that.  

My humans have two young resident dogs that have a lot of energy!  I don’t mind them at all but they run a lot faster than I can so I prefer to sniff around the yard while they run around and play. I like to be near my foster parents so I never go very far.  I’m hoping to get faster once I lose some weight so my foster parents have been feeding me a healthy diet and giving me time each day to exercise.  I also like to get a nap in at least once a day and don’t mind at all when my foster parents put me in my kennel when they need to leave the house. So if you are looking for an easygoing gal that loves to smile and snuggle, then look no further because that’s me! Gretta is located in Iowa.
