Hi, I’m Sawyer and I’m 11 weeks old! My foster mom named me after Tom Sawyer because she said I am ornery, mischievous, curious, smart, and lovable -just like my namesake!I am settling into my foster parents’ home, and I am living with 3 adult german shorthaired pointers and 1 senior yellow lab. I really enjoy romping around the yard with my foster siblings and mimicking everything they do! Also, I love car rides. To enter Great Plains Pointer Rescue, I traveled in the car for 11 hours, with frequent stops. I didn’t make a mess in the car, and I calmly played with my toys or slept during the travel time. My foster parents are working on house training me. So far, they said that I am doing a great job for a puppy! I haven’t had an accident in my crate, and I am working on going to the door when I need to go out. Also, my foster parents are teaching me to “sit”, walk on a leash, and only chewing on my toys! Boy, they are keeping me busy, but I repay them with plenty of puppy cuddles and kisses! Sawyer is located near Lincoln NE.
