This amazingly sweet 4 year old spayed female lives to play ball and to play outside.  She gets anxious if she does not have the proper exercise. She does not do well in a kennel, but has been very trust worthy in the house during the day.  Cherry will do best with a calm environment as babies make her very nervous. She has had some exposure to hunting, but we have no idea to what extent.  She is most comfortable at night snuggled in bed (under the covers). She gets along well with other dogs, including small dogs.

Cherry is currently on a special diet and we are working to determine if it is a digestive issue or a past environmental issue.  So, she isn't quite ready for adoption until we have made that determination.  She knows general commands.  As a foster mom, I can say that this dog is special and a true companion that has just been misunderstood.  Exercise will be the key to a successful transition to a new family.   Cherry is located near Des Moines IA.
