My name has only been Grover for about a week, and I am already recognizing that it is MY name. The nice lady that found me decided to name me Grover because she thought I looked like the Grover off of Sesame Street. I was found out in the country and have lost quite a bit a weight from being on my own for so long. I am being treated for hook and roundworms, but my medication is almost complete! Other than a few pesky worms and needing to gain some weight, I am a healthy boy! I love to lay on the couch beside you or on the floor when you are cooking. Basically, I just love to relax wherever you are. I sleep on my bed all night without making a peep, as long as I am in the same room as you. I do get very anxious when I am left alone and have to take medication for my anxiety. We haven't gotten the dosage quite right, but when we do, I feel I will learn very quickly how to calm down.
I know how to sit, lay down, and I am a good listener. I like to look for squirrels, rabbits, birds... anything small and quick. A squirrel tempted me to jump the fence and chase after it, but my foster mom told me no. So I listened to what she said and ran right over to her. I am such a good boy! I do believe my past job involved ridding any property of cats! I do not like them! I will focus and track their movement and sometimes have the tendency to point instead of chase them. I do however enjoy meeting other dogs and going for car rides! I let my foster parents know that I need to go outside by sitting at the backdoor and haven't had any accidents inside yet.
I am being fostered in Grand Island, NE
