Katie is an adorable German Shorthair Pointer/Chocolate Lab mix looking for her forever home. She is affectionate, fun and curious. She is quiet, calm and cuddly in the house but loves to use her energy when she's outside. She enjoys playing fetch, rawhides and rope toys, belly rubs, collecting sticks and going for walks. She does well on a leash, even better in a harness and is improving with every walk we go on. She loves the exercise but is very curious and does like to stop and sniff around (and point!). Katie gets right in her crate when told and doesn't whine or bark at all in it. She is nearly fully house-trained, but has a little room for improvement. She knows "sit", and is working on the "stay" command and not jumping on people when excited. She is not afraid of any loud noises and does well with children and other dogs once she gets acquainted with them. Katie would make a wonderful pet for a lucky family.
