Hey everyone, Sophie here.
I'm petite, trim and a lovely shade of orange and white. But face it, I'm special....so I'm not for everyone.
I looking for a forever home. I require a female owner. I can live with men and kids, if there are women around. I won't be the easiest dog to adopt, but I'm worth the time and trouble it takes. I am timid. Sometimes the word skittish comes to mind. That is just the way I am.
I need a yard to run in and a canine companion. I am Invisible Fence trained. I love to run in the yard. My foster parents have worked for months with me to build trust and help me feel comfortable. We have not worked much on obedience work, but I do know "no, leave it, ah-ah", and most the time, "kennel up". Riding in cars is stressful for me. Being in public is scary for me. But, my Foster Mom takes me to adoption events frequently. I tolerate people touching me at events. She says I make the other dogs at events look really good. Truthfully, I look good too, not comfortable, but very beautiful to look at.
My stats, for those who care: approx 5 yrs old, house broken/crate trained, spayed, hw -, utd on shots, and a sweet little 35lb pocket pointer. Oh yes, and cute as they come!! Adorable!
