Hi, my name is BJ and I am five years old (almost six!). I am an active dog that loves to go for walks and play fetch, I have lots of energy and am very curious (my foster mom says I am nosey, but I’d say curious!) and like to be close to people.  I also really enjoy laying on the couch and snuggling, and your lap will most likely be my favorite place to lay!

I am well behaved and have a very friendly nature, I’m pretty smart but I will need basic training as I only know a few commands at the moment. I don’t tolerate cats well, but I really like kids and currently live with a five year old two-legged human.  I don’t mind being in my crate where I’ll lay quietly (even if you’re in the house and I can see you), but I don’t like to be in there too long. I’ve had some hunt training and have been hunting, so I’d like to continue doing that if that’s something you like to do.

I’m looking for a home where I’ll get lots of attention and play time, go for good long walks, get belly rubs and plenty of snuggles.
