Hello! I'm Tamba (pronounced Tom-ba). I'm a 4 year old German Shorthaired Pointer and I'm really hoping to find my forever family! My foster mom and brothers have been teaching me all about house manners and how to be a gentleman. I am house broken and crate trained, though I would prefer not to be in my crate too much. Sometimes it stresses me out, though I'm a fan of routines and gladly go to my crate for quiet time, breakfast and dinner! I'm a big lover and would love nothing more than to share a couch with my family. I love people so much that sometimes I do not understand the need for personal space - we're working on that! I do best with regular exercise and would make an ideal jogging partner for the right family.

I live with two other male GSPs and we get along great. I have been around large female dogs and older children without any issues. I am not an ideal housemate for young children, as I am very bouncy and could knock them down. I also have a very high prey drive and should not be trusted around cats or other small mammals. I have been around horses and cattle and do not chase them, but I don't understand that they are dangerous. Luckily, I respond well to "no!" and "come" and have earned supervised time off of the leash on my foster farm. I am not gun shy, but my foster mom does not think I have been hunted or exposed to birds. I love to hunt for mice in the barn, however!
